What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. Your password is never stored by us in readable form — it's handled entirely by our authentication provider, Supabase, which stores only a secure hash.
If you're an onboarded contractor using the full product, we also store the bid and job-cost data you enter (estimated and actual costs per job, by cost driver and city) so we can calculate your bid-accuracy rankings.
If you submit an inquiry through a contact form, we collect what you provide: name, email, company, and your message.
How we use it
We use your data to operate your account, authenticate you, calculate the bid-variance rankings that are the core of the product, respond to inquiries, and maintain the security and integrity of the service. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your job-cost data for anything beyond generating your own rankings.
Where it lives
Our infrastructure runs on two processors:
- Supabase — authentication and database storage. Row-level security ensures your data is only ever readable by you.
- Vercel — application hosting and, where enabled, aggregate, privacy-respecting site analytics (page views and general traffic patterns — no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers).
Cookies
We use one essential cookie: an httpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in. It isn't used for tracking or advertising, and it can't be read by client-side scripts. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time. Contact us using the details below and we'll act on it promptly.
Children
Sláinte is a business tool for licensed contractors and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Sláinte after a change means you accept the updated policy.
